Sports Brief is a new African sports website. Sports Brief is a partner of LEGIT company, a media holding operating in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana, with projects like Briefly.co.za, Legit.ng, TUKO.co.ke and YEN.com.gh.
what to do:
- The sports journalist will write 7x 350-word articles a shift (a mix of original and re-written news).
- You will also occasionally be asked to write match reports (watching live games and reporting on it).
- Source multi-media to accompany your article.
- Source images to accompany your article using our tools.
- Publish articles on the CMS.
- Post articles on Facebook.
applicants will need:
- A qualification in journalism and previous writing experience.
- A good understanding of South African and International sporting news;
- Independence and dedication as this is a home-based position.
- A good laptop/PC (at least Intel 3).
- Good, reliable internet connection (uncapped, with a line-speed of at least 4MBps).
